Not too long ago, we blogged about Demiurge’s Senior Producer Elena Siegman, whose gorgeous vocals can be heard in the zombie mode songs of Call of Duty (World at War and Black Ops). At the time, she had been tirelessly working on her first solo album. Well, we’ve got killer news! Her EP, The Mighty, was released at the end of May and it’s even more stunning than we imagined!
Elena recorded the album in Long Beach at The Compound Studio. While recording sessions lasted only eight days, the album took a year to create, including writing the music, hiring musicians, rehearsing, recording, and mastering. It’s published through Elena’s own record label, Doll Breath.
The Mighty is available for download on iTunes and through Amazon. A print version, with some additional tracks, will be available later this year. Also, Elena is a total riot, so keep up with her musings on Twitter and Facebook.
Congratulations, Elena – we’re constantly impressed by your awesomeness!
