Our Services

Demiurge creates full games, extends AAA franchises with publishing partners, and generates new IPs. Our work spans mobile platforms, home consoles, PC, and free to play titles. In everything we do - from full game development to blockbuster DLC - outstanding communication, visibility on our daily work processes and clarity in our presented work is our hallmark. We strive for close collaboration with our partners and open channels for communication & feedback in every project. The end result? Demiurge Studios consistently delivers on our promises - as evidenced by our satisfied clients.

Full Development

Demiurge Studios shines brightest when we ship games that we can call our own. Whether it’s our own IP or a publisher’s existing brand, we pour our heart and soul into projects that let us create, grow, and build worlds for players. Some recent examples:

Our indie title Shoot Many Robots demonstrates our love for tight gameplay, deep challenge, and quirky humor. With hundreds of items, weapons, and clothing options to try out, players have invested hundreds of hours tracking down rare and hard-to-find loot. Shoot Many Robots is published by Ubisoft on PC, XBLA, and PSN.

On the flipside, The Nightworld is a moody stealth action game for iOS platforms. Working closely with publisher Glu Mobile, we crafted a Free-to-Play economy with logical consumables, extensive gear upgrades, and Facebook hooks. The Nightworld plays in full 3D using the Unreal Engine, and was an Apple featured title.

Upcoming titles at the studio include the high-intensity combat of Arena Kings (a Free-to-Play bloodbath on PC), and two unannounced titles for iOS & Android.

Co-Development

Demiurge mastered the art of effective Co-Development years ago. All it takes is crystal-clear communication, crack producers, mutual trust, and an intense commitment to getting every detail right.

Even the best teams can use a hand sometimes. Demiurge creates multiplayer modes (Borderlands, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Medal of Honor) and supplies custom art & level design (Bioshock, Brothers in Arms), while keeping true to a game’s defining values.

When a title deserves the best treatment, Demiurge gets called in to help launch games on additional platforms. More than simple ports, we work with core teams early in development to add platform specific features, tweaked UI, and custom tuning for performance. Mass Effect and Aliens: Colonial Marines demonstrate our passion for making games feel natural - like they belong on the platforms under our care.

DLC & Sequels

We love working on franchises that we love. When the right project comes along, games feel like they make themselves.

Mass Effect and Aliens: Colonial Marines both stand out as DLC success stories. Mass Effect: Pinnacle Station added a much-requested combat proving ground, which rewarded players with new, custom items. And our current work on DLC for Aliens: Colonial Marines is a natural fit with Demiurge’s expertise in level design and engineering.

Green Day: Rock Band followed up quickly on the success of The Beatles: Rock Band. When Harmonix was looking for a studio they could trust with their internal tools and rockstar egos, they called Demiurge. In the process of development, we made a bunch of die-hard Green Day fans.
